Details of the MPNP November 8, 2024 Draw
1. Skilled Worker in Manitoba: Occupation-Specific Selection
In this category, 41 candidates received invitations based on their current employment in Manitoba in the Restaurant and Food Service Managers occupation (NOC 60030). The lowest-ranking candidate invited in this stream had a score of 672.
2. International Education Stream
A significant portion of the invitations, 188 in total, were issued to candidates who declared eligibility under the International Education Stream. This stream is designed to attract international graduates who meet the specific requirements to stay and work in Manitoba, helping to address the province’s labor market needs.
3. Skilled Worker Overseas: Strategic Recruitment
The MPNP also invited 45 candidates through the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. These candidates were directly invited by the MPNP based on their skills and work experience. The lowest-ranking candidate in this stream had a score of 709.
4. Express Entry-Aligned Invitations
In addition, 33 candidates with a valid Express Entry profile received invitations in this draw. These candidates are eligible for consideration under the Express Entry system and can apply for permanent residency in Manitoba through the provincial nominee program.
