In the most recent BC PNP draw on October 2, a total of approximately 167 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency (PR) were issued in both general and targeted rounds.
Of these, 81 invitations were extended in the general draw, which included skilled worker and international graduate streams, along with their Express Entry variants. The cutoff score remained unchanged from the previous general draw.
Additionally, 35 invitations were given to individuals with backgrounds as early childhood educators’ assistants or instructors (NOC 42202).
Invitations were also sent to 28 candidates with experience in 39 healthcare-related fields, while 23 applicants with backgrounds in 25 construction-related occupations received invitations as part of British Columbia’s newly established category-based draw, introduced in late 2023.
