In the latest BC PNP draw on August 20, 2024, a total of 156 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency were issued, both in general and targeted rounds.
Of these, 83 invitations were given out in the general draw to candidates with a minimum score of 130. This includes those in the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, and their Express Entry streams.
This cutoff score is 2 points lower than the one from the previous BC PNP draw on August 7.
Additionally, 38 invitations were sent to candidates with experience as early childhood educators’ assistants or instructors (NOC 42202).
15 invitations went to profiles with experience in 39 different healthcare-related jobs.
In a new category-based draw, which started in late 2023, 20 applicants with experience in 25 construction-related jobs also received invitations for permanent residency in British Columbia.
