On September 5, 2024, the OINP held a targeted draw for the Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, issuing 86 Notifications of Interest (NOIs). Candidates with CRS scores between 290 and 393 were invited. This draw is notable for its unusually low CRS score threshold, especially given the highly competitive nature of the immigration process.
The draw was aimed at candidates with work experience in certain occupations classified under TEER Categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). This approach helps Ontario attract skilled workers who align with the province’s labor market demands and supports the development of its French-speaking communities.
